Together, they also produced Macmillan USA’s first adult-audience book-length app, and the first app in FSG’s history, the #1 internationally bestselling Journey to the Exoplanets.

Amanda Moon has worked in the book publishing industry for two decades. Before founding Moon & Company, she was the Director of the Scientific American imprint at Farrar, Straus and Giroux (SA/FSG); a Senior Editor at Farrar, Straus and Giroux; and manager of the Novel Graphics imprint of graphic books in fiction and non-fiction. Prior to Farrar, Straus and Giroux, she was an Editor at Basic Books, Editor at Palgrave Macmillan, and Preferred Provider at She Writes, where she co-founded and launched tutorials on book proposals and related topics. Moon is the editor or publisher of multiple bestsellers and award-winning authors. Books on her list have been adapted to the screen, have secured positive coverage and “best of the year” mentions in major media outlets around the world, and have been translated into many languages.

Thomas LeBien is a twenty-eight-year veteran of publishing with experience at top-tier university presses and commercial presses.
